"First principles. Simplicity.
What is the first and principal thing
he does?"

Hannibal Lecter

I worked in aviation for 26 years and, at one time, I worked in a department of about 100 people, and we were connected to almost every major crime in the city, and even some major ones in North America and England.

Friends and neighbors and customers. Perpetrators and victims. One or two degrees of separation.
Big crimes. Murders. Serial Killings. Spree Killing. Hospital poisoning. Gangster hits. Terrorism....

Two in the rogues gallery of pilots above.

P.S. One parked his plane on our pad and one had a hanger at our airport and invited at least one of us to party there.
(I knew or met a couple of murder victims. A co-worker happened to know one of the murderers.)

100 people. A dozen or more major crimes. Why?
